Account Clerk

Job Description



We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting operations. The role focuses on bookkeeping tasks, financial record maintenance and assisting the Finance/Accounts Department to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform data entry and maintain accounting records (AP, AR, GL). Prepare and process payments, invoices and receipts. Update and monitor petty cash and daily cash flow records. Assist in preparing simple financial reports and summaries. Support with tax and SST documentation and submissions. Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents. Liaise with auditors, tax agents and banks when required. Perform ad hoc administrative or finance-related tasks as assigned by head of department.

Requirements:



SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements. Familiar with accounting software (SQL, UBS, Autocount, or similar) and MS Excel. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines. Good team player with a willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
