The Account cum Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting daily accounting tasks while handling general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting
Assist in handling daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, payment vouchers, receipts, and filing.
Prepare and update accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Assist in maintaining proper financial records.
Support the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries for management.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when required.
Ensure all accounting documents are accurately recorded and well-organised.
Administrative Duties
Manage day-to-day office administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, correspondence, and record keeping.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and basic customer service enquiries.
Manage office supplies, stationery, and inventory updates.
Provide administrative support to other departments or management as needed.
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (knowledge of AP/AR is an advantage).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Good communication skills and able to work well in a team environment.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
