Job Description


  • Candidate must possess least a Diploma in Accounting or professional qualification (LCCI/ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA), or related field.
  • Proven experience in full set accounting, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members across departments.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with foreign customers, particularly from China.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate who able to start work in short notice will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers, while also managing collections from clients.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyse financial data, create reports, and perform calculations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting-related inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax filings, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors and tax authorities.
