What would your role look like?

The overall role of Account Executive involves providing support to finance department within organizations, assist with various financial tasks and ensuring compliance and accuracy of finance processes.

ARAP& treasury

• Process and prepare payment (including Travel and Expense Management verification). Ensure all documentation are kept in good condition
• Oversee customer and vendor accounts. Managing account receivables and payables
• Maintain and administer office petty cash requirements, review and reconcile bank statements
• Monitor cash level in all bank accounts

Month End and Year End

• Month end and year end closing, i.e., ensure invoices are being captured in the correct month and accrual to be done whenever necessary
• Ensure local tax filing e.g., withholding tax, Sales and Services Tax (SST) are done accurately and timely
• Assist in periodic reporting, year-end audit, and tax schedules

Others

• Ensure work done are compliance with local statutory standards and group requirements
• Responsible for Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia representative offices. Backup for Japan and South Korea account and finance process handling
• Good knowledge of Malaysia Sales and Services Tax (SST) and Withholding tax
• Stay alert with banking requirement and tax update for the legal entity and representative offices
• Support ASEAN*, JPKR finance team in handling relevant project
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned and administrative support

Who are we looking for?

• Min. 2-3 years\' relevant experience in a multi-national company, and similar industry background is a plus
• Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Accounting, Finance or Tax
• Accounting, tax, or other professional certificates are a plus
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAP
