Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in accounting roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems; experience with [Specific Software Name, e.g., Xero, QuickBooks] is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
• Must be willing to work onsite at the Seri Kembangan location.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against budget and investigating variances.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns, including GST and income tax.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities, providing necessary information and support during audits and assessments.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management in decision-making.
