Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data and providing regular financial reporting. Responsibilities You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and your scope of work includes (but not limited to): Work closely with Finance Manager to maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. To maintain effective and accurate financial records and procedures. To assist in preparing full sets of accounts and financial statements of the company and Chapters. Maintain and manage receivable and payable accounts. To perform monthly verification of all financial statements (expenditure classification, invoice listing, receipts, debtors\' ledger) and bank reconciliation. To assist in payroll and ensure correct ad prompt payments of all statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax, Zakat). Set-up and maintain credit control system of MAH and MAHTEC. To manage Chapter accounts and maintain SOPs, accordingly. Monitoring outstanding status and follow up payments. Manage petty cash transactions. Assist in bookkeeping duties. Adjust accounts with a common record of the general ledger. To assist CEO, General Manager and/or Finance Manager in pursuit of finance related issues in the industry e.g. utility rates, tax matters and in preparation of the Government\'s Annual Budget dialogues. Maintain banking relationships. To provide support to team members; MAH & MAHTEC, in their respecting functions. To perform any other tasks as assigned by Chief Executive Officer from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in Account / Finance or related field. One or two years of professional experience in finance or accounting Personal integrity and an ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and client information.
