Account Payable Executive

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers in a timely and accurate manner. Verify and match invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and contracts. Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs (cheques, transfers, online payments). Maintain up-to-date vendor records and manage vendor queries promptly. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements regularly. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve invoice discrepancies. Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory regulations. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve issues and improve the payables process.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role. Experience with SQL / AUTOCOUNT systems preferred. Knowledge of taxation (VAT, GST, WHT, etc.) is an advantage. CAN START IMMEDIATELY
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
