Summary



Responsible for managing all product-related activities for a strategic key customer account. This includes developing and executing the account-specific product strategy, ensuring alignment with the customer's roadmap, and driving initiatives across the full product lifecycle from market introduction to phase-out.

Working in a matrixed account team, the Key Account Product Manager leads product direction for the assigned customer by coordinating with application engineering, design and development, quality, materials management, operations, and sales. Acting as the "voice of the customer", the role ensures customer needs are translated into product and execution requirements and supports the delivery of the business plan in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager.

Responsibilities:



Develop and drive the product strategy for the assigned key account, aligned with market and customer insights. Define and support execution of account-specific tactics to achieve business plan targets (revenue, margin, market share). Ensure execution meets customer requirements, internal standards, and quality targets. Collaborate closely with all members of the key account matrix team, including:
- Sales and Application Engineers

- Product Management and R&D

- Quality and Materials Engineers

- Sales Operations and Manufacturing teams (globally)

Develop compelling value propositions tailored to customer-specific use cases and technology trends. Provide regular sales forecasts and adjust plans to meet commercial targets. Track and report progress on key initiatives using an account KPI dashboard. Represent product and technology progress in internal and external meetings with the customer. Act as a key product interface during customer audits, technical reviews, and business negotiations.

Accountabilities:

Drive the account product strategy based on competitive, technical, and market intelligence. Translate strategy into actionable business plans and support global marketing efforts where applicable. Lead product-related coordination within the global matrixed account team. Anticipate and shape customer product needs, aligning development roadmaps with internal capabilities. Provide clear and structured reporting on technology development, performance, and risks. Set and monitor sales targets for the assigned account in collaboration with the account and regional teams.

Regional Sales Managers Field Application Engineers Product Managers within the account team Global Quality Engineers Global Materials Managers Operations and Planning at relevant production sites

Authorize to approve to make decision on key account that will bring the best interest to company & customers. (win-win solutions)

Qualifications:



Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related technical/scientific field. Strong written and spoken communication skills in business English. At least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor (SEMI) industry or vacuum technology sectors. Proven experience in key account management or product management in a matrixed, global organization. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-tech product portfolios and cross-functional teams. Strong customer orientation and experience representing the company in technical and commercial discussions. Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to product and business challenges. Experience with cost improvement, product development, and customer qualification programs.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
