Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities



1) Account Receivable & Credit Control

To call customer and update to Sales Team for payment based on aging assigned. Identify accounts with potential default risk of payment over than 365 days & follow up on the outstanding payment. Responsible for monitoring the Account Receivable ageing and reconciling receivable balance on a regular basis. Issue below statement based on request from sales:-
- Statement of Accounts (SOA)

- Invoicing

- Reminder Letter

- Issuance Requisition Bad Debt Form

- Credit Note

- Official Receipt Based on Request From Sales

Recommend and propose action for defaulted cases to Operation. Improve collection efficiency and receivable. Work closely with various departments especially with Sales Team & Operation to resolve credit and collection-related issues. Preparing list for CTOS arrangement for uncollected debt.
2) Matching and monitoring of payments received by customer.

To perform matching, raise journals and payments to clear the outstanding items in the statement of accounts with supporting documents. Monitor payment credited in bank on regular basis and arrange for receipt issuance. Reconcile customer account.
3) Preparing reports on monthly credit reports, and relevant statistics for Management's review.

Requirements



Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or related field (or equivalent qualification) Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting, preferably within the retail or healthcare industries. Proficient in accounting software (E.g.

Cloud Accounting Software - Zoho, Bukku and Wave

) and Retail Accounting Software -

Smart POS System and Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Good understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations. Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to problem solving.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
