At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on tax and financial reporting
With 1 year of audit experience in SME preferred
Proficiency in accounting software (SQL & Autocount) and other financial reporting tools.
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field
Pursuing professional accounting qualifications preferred (ie, ACCA, PA, MICPA or ICAEW)
We are looking for a candidate who has and positive attitude, is willing to learn, and can work well independently.
Candidate with Audit/Tax experience will be prioritized.
Good qualification is important but it is not the top priority in our people development policy.
Candidate with relevant academic qualifications and/or working experiences will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and guide junior staff members
Able to work outstation (Out of Selangor)
Having own transport and being able to travel to meet with clients as required
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the accounting operations of our clients, including financial statement preparation, tax return preparation, and other financial reporting
Ensure that all financial statements and reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
Provide strategic financial advice to clients and help them make informed decisions about their businesses
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all accounting-related matters
Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure that clients are informed and prepared for any changes that may affect their businesses
Assist in the development of new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing potential clients and working with partners to develop proposals and presentations
Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Prepare and present reports and other materials to clients and partners as needed
