AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. The Accountant - Finance position is within CTS, based in Selangor and the key missions will be to monitor and improve upon the overall efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations in support of its internal stakeholders to meet CTS\xe2\x80\x99s growth ambitions in business.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Monthly closing, primarily by preparing journal entries;

Assist in monthly preparation of the financial statements, including preparing balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy, and assist in profit & loss analysis by Business Units;

Prepares payment proposal at least twice a month and the primary contact person for banking related matters;

Prepares cash forecast to anticipate any need for credit facilities, loans, or capital increase;

Responsible for debt collections and assist to manage overdue of external customers;

Reports on a monthly basis on top customers overdues, total overdue and aging reporting;

Completes on annual basis the Bank Fees and Means of Payment Survey;

Assist in internal controls - reconciliation of accounts, reconciliation of subledger with general ledger, and documenting policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility;

Assist in submission and reporting of withholding tax payable to Inland Revenue Board, responsible for certificates of residence and assist in maintaining a complete record of withholding tax deducted by customers with documentation of receipts for Company\xe2\x80\x99s corporate income tax submission;

Assist in ensuring compliance with delegation of authorities, segregation of duties on accounting related processes;

Assist in annual external audits;

Assist and provision of the necessary operational support for ERP-related initiatives;

Support on an ad-hoc basis for any accounting related projects.

Strong accounting and financial analysis skills;

Commitment to uncompromising accuracy in data management;

Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data; strong analytical skills;

Disciplined and deadline-oriented;

Superior communication skills, English is mandatory, Malay, Mandarin are a plus;

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other Google applications;

Experience with ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus;

A Bachelor\'s Degree - Accounting/Finance is preferred;

At least 2- 3 years of applicable experience.
