\xef\xbb\xbfClient Background: International Independent and FirmLocation: Soho Suites KLCCHeadcount: 1About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for our hotel reservations and marketing company. This role involves overseeing all financial operations related to hotel OTA management, wholesale operations, PPC marketing, and sales channels involving direct customer interactions. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting in the hospitality and marketing industries, particularly in managing relationships with sub-wholesalers and sales agents.Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Full Set of Accounts: Prepare, manage, and review the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Financial Statements.\xc2\xb7 Revenue Management: Monitor, record, and analyze revenue streams from OTA channels, PPC marketing, direct sales, and wholesale agreements with hotels.\xc2\xb7 Sub-Wholesaler and Master Wholesaler Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records for sub-wholesaler agreements, track commissions and payments, and reconcile monthly statements.\xc2\xb7 PPC Marketing Accounting: Manage financial records related to PPC marketing campaigns, including budgeting, expense tracking, and ROI analysis.\xc2\xb7 Sales Commission Accounting: Calculate and process commissions for sales agents, call center representatives, and other personnel based on sales performance.\xc2\xb7 Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare periodic financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions.\xc2\xb7 Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and assist with tax planning and filing. Maintain updated knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\xc2\xb7 Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, and provide regular updates on financial performance against targets.\xc2\xb7 Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensure timely payments, and manage accounts receivables and payables.\xc2\xb7 Inventory Management Support: Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking of room allocations and wholesale bookings.Key Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\xc2\xb7 Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in managing complex revenue streams.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with OTA platforms is a plus.\xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and accuracy.\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively with various departments and external partners.If you are interested in this position, you may apply directly by clicking \xe2\x80\x9cApply\xe2\x80\x9d button directly or you may apply through our websiteSub Specialization : Banking and Financial Services;Others
