Job Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an added advantage. 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm and/or a multinational company (MNC). Strong understanding of Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations (including Transfer Pricing and Withholding Tax) is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive operational efficiency. Results-oriented, self-motivated, agile, and a strong team player. Strong time management and organizational skills. Experience with SAP-ERP, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, VBA, and Macros is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities



Manage daily general accounting activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Perform month-end closing activities; prepare financial analyses and commentaries for regional reporting reviews. Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and resolve reconciling items. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and local statutory obligations. Lead and support U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting compliance; conversant in IFRS and U.S. GAAP and able to assess their impact on local accounting practices. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments such as HR, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Logistics. Liaise with external stakeholders including Company Secretary, Tax Agents, Auditors, and the Inland Revenue Board (IRB). Prepare annual audit schedules and tax computations. Maintain and monitor the Fixed Asset Register and conduct periodic Fixed Asset Sighting Exercises. Prepare CAPEX proposals for headquarters' approval. Perform product costing and valuation reviews. Assist in annual budget preparation and financial planning activities. Participate in or lead projects, process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and other ad hoc assignments as required.
