VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and reporting between the Miri site and Kota Kinabalu HQ. The ideal candidate will handle full accounting functions, budgeting, and financial analysis to support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting, monitor spending, and highlight variances.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory filings.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
Support cash flow management, cost control, and financial planning.
Coordinate closely with HQ Finance and operations teams for accurate consolidation.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, or MYOB) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in retail or trading industry is an advantage.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary: RM 5,000 - RM 7,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Benefits: EPF, SOCSO, Annual Leave, Performance Bonus
