We also design policies and procedures that adhere to audit standards and conform to FASB and SEC guidance, as well as compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404.Join us as an Accounting Advisor on our Accounting team in Bayan Lepas, Penang to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll achieveThe APJC Statutory team is responsible for ensuring high quality financial statements for the legal entities are provided to key customers within the specified deadlines, to enable Dell to meet the statutory filing requirements . This role is key in monitoring the statutory compliance. Close working relationship with the statutory teams across Global along with good partnership with Corp. Tax, Corp. Sec, Legal, PwC etc. And support global & regional business growth, system enhancement and automation initiatives.You will:Good accounting and business acumen to independently handle legal entity related statutory matters, including work with audit firm on annual audit, perform regular financial reporting on time and accurately.Perform financial reporting and flux analysis, review with managers and accounting leaders, and call-out the special items for attention timely.Work closely with all business partners to provide valuable support.Participate or lead regional or country specific projects \xe2\x80\x93 automation, accounting standards, system improvement, etc.Understand critical tax principle, able to prepare corporate income tax computation and transfer pricing adjustments.Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here\xe2\x80\x99s what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsProfessional Accountancy qualification with minimum of 6 years post qualification experience, preferably with a large Public Accounting Firm or multinational background.Good organizational skills and has great initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required (verbal, written and presentations).Ability to work within tight operating deadlines.Goal oriented results driven with a strong desire to see tasks through to completion.Desirable RequirementsProven experience in supporting cross-functional teams an advantage.Ability to identify improvement opportunities & translate same from concept to reality.
