Input financial transactions into accounting systems.
Maintained accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
Reconcile discrepancies in records or accounts Transaction Processing:
Record payments accurately and promptly.
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
Document Management:
Organize and file financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and statements.
Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Financial Reporting Support:
Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and budgets.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Communication and Coordination:
Respond to internal and external inquiries about financial matters.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; a diploma in accounting or related field is an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
Work Environment:
Office-based, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy in financial data.
