Position Summary

The Accounting Rookie (6 months internship) role offer candidates real-life experience on how MNC operates. The candidate will be rotated across accounting functions to gain exposure & valuable insights from experienced team workers. Hand-on guidance on system software would also be shared to prepare candidates for their future employment.

Areas Of Learning & Responsibilities

• Help managers complete daily tasks (e.g. verification, checks & reconciliation)
• Understand each function\xe2\x80\x99s (e.g. P2P & O2C) daily processes and goals
• Provide administrative support (e.g. data entry)
• Get familiar with personnel duties
• Participate in month-end closing activities
• Ensure sub-ledgers reconcile to the general ledger
• Adhere to policies and procedures for proper internal control
• Ensure that processing and execution of all transactions are in line with the company\'s policies

Who Are We Looking For?

• A keen learner who is detail-oriented, resourceful & driven
• Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines
• Able to work with a team/independently where needed
• Willing to listen, to include and to respect the beliefs of teammates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel
