Next you talk to the Head of Accounting for one of your service areas, a key stakeholder and partner, to align the update for the regional CFO community next week which you\'ll present jointly. Before you head to lunch, you deep dive with your GL, Closing & Reporting function into a major project of theirs which drives harmonization across the region.Refreshed you start the second half of your day with a mentoring session for a finance top talent form the region. While you just had a quick glance at your wider team\'s KPIs, and addressed major observations to your respective function leads, you find yourself in a review meeting with the Regional Accounting team to evaluate improvement potential of the end-to-end process for Fixed Assets. Because you\'re the global sponsor for the Accounts Receivable teams, you meet with the function leads for all three-service provider regions within Accounting Services to simulate the strategic and collective thinking of this group and drive selection of the next tool of choice. You end your day with a check-in with your manager, the Global Head of Accounting Services, and followed by a 1o1 with your function lead for Cash & Banks.How You\'ll Make an ImpactIn your role as the Accounting Service Centre Manager Asisa Pacific, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Accounting Service Centre in the region, which includes the following functions:\xe2\x97\x8b General Ledger, Closing & Reporting\xe2\x97\x8b Fixed Assets\xe2\x97\x8b Bank and Cash\xe2\x97\x8b Accounts Receivable

• Out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia you\'ll be responsible to serve Siemens Energy entities in Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, while being also responsible for China in the near future with operational accounting excellence in the above mentioned four functions.
• Beside your operational duties, you will be representing Accounting Services with key stakeholders in the regions, partner with your counterparts in Europe and Americas to drive global harmonization and standardization, look after and develop passionately an energetic team that is eager to not only delivery operationally but also keen to continuously embrace change at a local and global scale.
• You can use your excellent and effective communication skills to support, challenge and direct your team through ambiguity.
• Your project driven design thinking helps you to shape the future of streamlined global processes while you can switch between process deep dive and strategy effortlessly.

What You Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field
• Strong business and accounting acumen
• Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership of an operational accounting center
• Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to drive finance transformation through change management
• People oriented and committed to drive personal growth of the team, with a track record of hire and develop talents
• Passion for process excellence and the project management tool kit to drive such initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong passion for organization, process improvement and structure
• Flexibility to discuss detailed process steps and high-level strategic initiatives with the same accuracy and effectiveness.
• Experience of working in a truly multicultural working environment
• Finance leadership experience, with proven success in leading teams through change management processes
• You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
