Overview

There are a few shared service hubs globally and Cyberjaya is one of the key finance and accounting competency center. We are looking for an Accounting Systems, Consultant and will be the shared service centre lead for confirmation of internal control compliance and reporting - a hybrid role that blends accounting expertise with a technical know-how.
Responsibilities
As the Accounting Systems, Consultant will be covering compliance and reporting of all internal accounting systems.
Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for managing IT accounting system audit reviews of the Company's controls
• Work with multiple internal departments to monitor and ensure adherence to documented internal control processes.
• Educate the team on changes in internal control requirements that will require process adaptations
• Work with teams to ensure that process changes are properly documented in the control flow
• Communicate and present across all levels of staff/managers across all departments on the impact new activity has on the Company's controls.
• Upon meeting all the above responsibilities, help secure the Company obtaining attestation that our controls are proper and adhered to (compliant)?
• Additionally, complete ad hoc projects as deemed required by the finance organization and able to coordinate with multiple departments for the proper completion of such projects.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience, but not limited to:

• -Minimum working experience of 5+ years, preferably in an internal control department within an organization
• -Heavy knowledge of various IT accounting system processes including governance
• -Demonstrated experience and accomplishments in working with internal/external business partners
• -Business controls/process improvement experience preferred
• -Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
• -Must be a critical thinker, self-motivated, and able to constructively evaluate, review, and resolve a variety of issues that arise throughout business.
• -Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task & ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

- ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is an advantage
