Job Description


THE OPPORTUNITYOur partner, an Australian underwriting company with over 30 years of experience in specialized protection for residential investment properties, is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join the team in Kuala Lumpur.As the Accounts Administrator, your primary role will be to provide Accounts & Administrative support to the company & the company's entities, Real Estate Agents, Brokers, existing and new customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to general and specific account enquiries from both real estate agents and customers via email.
  • Daily receipting of Direct Deposit premium payments received from clients.
  • Processing payment requests of refunds due to overpayments and duplicated payments.
  • Process cancellations due to non-payment.
  • Follow up missing remittances and unidentifiable payments daily.
  • Attend to Accounts inbox.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Underwriting and Claims to ensure continuity in service to all clients.
  • Ensure data quality is maintained by updating all incorrect client and real estate agent information as it is identified.
  • Identify system issues as they arise and advise management.
  • Adopt best practices & demonstrate a strong customer service and value adding ethic to all stakeholders.
  • Strive to maintain and advance the reputation of the company.
  • Provide professional and ethical behavior in your actions by ensuring compliance with all legislation and internal operating procedures.
  • Escalate any issues, policy breaches or risks which could potentially have a negative impact on relationships and the company's business overall.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Administrative or Property Insurance scope.
  • Good English Language communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain the accuracy of the Insurance Broking Account and Policies.
  • Ability to effectively manage time to ensure all communications are addressed within agreed service level agreement timeframes.
  • Ability to remain motivated considering potential negative responses from clients regarding premiums.
  • Passionate, pro-active, adaptable, positive & has a can-do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-spirited and motivated by driving the best outcome for the team.
