We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accounts Assistant, based in our Tricor, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute authorised financial transactions and activities, such as bill payment, invoices, receipts, etc. Managing recording and records.
  • Find solutions to discrepancies by working with other employees and correcting any erroneous information or calculations.
  • Direct the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and payments, income and expenditures.
  • Supporting superiors with projects and tasks when required.
  • Implement and adhere to the group\'s financial policies and procedures and authority limits.
  • Direct the maintenance internal procedures and controls for accounting, timekeeping, property plant & equipment, costs and other related controls.
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as filling, organising paperwork, soft files and maintain good filing records.
  • Create organised records and files to assist in audit, tax, statistical submissions etc.
  • Create efficient and effective methods for tracking financial data.
  • Use spreadsheets and sophisticated calculation software to gather and record financial information.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of organisational products, services and processes.
Key requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of Administration.
  • Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and Sage accounting software preferred.ss
  • Pleasant personality, good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed and result driven.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
  • Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
  • Fresh graduate or with 1-2 years relevant working experience.
