Company BackgroundWe are representing our client a F&B retailer with over 20+ outlets across Malaysia. Our client is currently seeking for an experience and dynamic candidate to fill the position of Accounts Assistant Manager (Based in KL).

• Mon-Fri (9am-6pm)

Job Summary:

• Responsible for full spectrum of Company Finance Operations
• Oversee the Company\'s Cash Flow Management
• Responsible for the Company Financial Reporting and perform analytical review of Management Accounts
• Prepare and review Company Yearly Budgets and Financial Projections

Job Scope:

• Ensure payments are completed accurately and timely manner
• Solve discrepancy between purchase order and invoice
• Monitor backlog invoices and give direction to teams to drive down the backlog number accordingly
• Review report and vendor reconciliation and act on overdue open items
• Responsible for ensuring KPIs for Account payable are met, these include timely processing and payment of invoices
• Develop action plans to help the team to achieve KPI
• Verify and review suppliers\' payments, staff commission claim and trade application
• Establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems
• Timely Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns submission and compliance at all times
• Responsible for Tax Planning & Compliance
• Review statutory audit reports, inventory management and Debtors Ageing Report
• Attend and liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers and etc
• Lead, coach and manage team of finance effectively
• Perform other ad hoc assignment and task as and when requested by management

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.
• At least 5 years working experience in accounting, preferably in the F&B, Food Manufacturing or Retail industry.
• Fast paced environment.
• Able to work under pressure.
