PURPOSE OF THE ROLE This role is to support the Finance department in performing daily accounting operation activities in all fundamental areas of the accounting cycle. Key Responsibilities: General and Task Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist with managing the data entry of the accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions, including the preparation of payment and receipt vouchers for entry into the accounting system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist, prepare and reconcile the monthly bank reconciliations in multiple currencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Record and manage the daily petty cash disbursements, reconcile the daily balance, and update the transactions in the accounting software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare customer and inter-company sales quotations and final billing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support and participate in the annual physical stock count, reconcile, and record data into the system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with internal parties, external parties: banker, auditor, tax agent, company secretary, consultants, government agencies, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide administrative duties, filing, maintenance of documents, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs all other related duties as assigned by the management from time to time Relationship Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers \xe2\x80\xa2 Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output Self-Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with the Health and hygiene, Safety and Environmental Policies \xe2\x80\xa2 Assertive, resilient and welcomes change \xe2\x80\xa2 Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together \xe2\x80\xa2 Actively committed to teams\xe2\x80\x99 development \xe2\x80\xa2 Shows moral courage, openness, and honesty in all dealings \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated, flexible, proactive, and committed \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent Attention to detail Skills and Attributes: \xe2\x80\xa2 Independently determines approach and assigned tasks \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of manufacturing processes would be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning and prioritising activities \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to present data effectively \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of Health and Safety practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Team working skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Great communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Must possess good verbal and written English skills. Qualifications and Experience Levels: \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma in Accountancy / LCCI or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess at least 2 Years of working experience within the Finance and Accounting field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in using Accounting Software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Exposure with ERP systems will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Required Computer skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fluent English and Bahasa would be desirable \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
