• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or a relevant professional qualification, or at least 2 years of working experience.
• Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
• Strong analytical skills and a fast learner.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to liaise with customers or suppliers in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Computer literate and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (Autocount).
• Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager in checking that all data entries for AP & AR are correctly updated in the accounting system.
• Prepare and update Payment Vouchers, Journal Ledgers, and other related ledgers.
• Prepare monthly closing stock analysis reports and update them in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with standard requirements.
• Carry out other duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.
