Contract length: 3 months To prepare payments to vendors To monitor Accounts Payable (AP) aging accounts and reconciliation To update and maintain cashbook and bank reconciliation To handle daily accounts transaction and assists in monthly closing To assist in preparing full set accounts including monthly reconciliation, statutory financial statements and annual income tax submission To assist in annual business forecasting and budgeting process as well as monthly business reporting To perform variance analysis on financial performance against budget benchmark. To assist in cost efficiency project to ensure budgeted profits are met To analyze processes within manufacturing line to ensure cost efficiency is met To maintain proper filing systems for accounts and office documents To prepare bank statements and payments received and posting of the same in the ERP system To assists in the analysis of the financial ratios of the accounting reports To perform Accounts Receivables (AR) activities and ensures that collection for customers is followed up consistently To assists the Manager to produces and analyze management accounting / costing report especially related to the wastage project on a weekly basis To recommend ways of cutting cost and monitors the cost-effective data To assist Accounts Manager on administrative matters To perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time Requirements Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent Minimum 2 years of related working experience Required skill: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Required language: Good oral and written skills in English & Malay Possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills Enjoys meticulous work Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines Pro-active and a good team player Good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and collaborate with other departments in the company, such as production, accounts and procurement. Able to handle changing and at times challenging situations Good corporate governance, comply with all legal and statutory requirements. Deal effectively with complex and sensitive issues Knowledge of methods, practices and terminology used in accounting, pertinent rules, law and policy regarding accounting methods Strong adaptability to changes in work conditions
