We are currently hiring Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to work with us on a 6 months Fixed Term Contract based in Petaling Jaya Salangor, Malaysia. In this role you will report to the Finance Manager and carry out full spectrum of finance function activities. You will assist and support the Finance Manager in financial statement and management reporting preparation as well as in financial and variance analysis.
Key Accountabilities: Financial Control and Record Keeping
- Data entry into D365 system (AP, AR, Bank, GL journals)
- Issue sales invoice, back-charge invoice to intercompany
- Capture Purchase Invoices (Trade & Non-Trade), Payment processing, Prepare operations cash flow
- Fixed assets register maintenance and depreciation.
- Bank reconciliation
- Prepare & submit WHT (withholding tax) payments.
- Declare and Submit SST values on Imported services.
- Liaise with bankers and other external parties where necessary.
- Manage supplier and customer master files.
- Prepare leasing assets in accordance with IFRS 16
- Assist month-end closing & reporting into UK group consolidation tool (OneStream)
- Intercompany matching
- Analysis a seen under Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparation of quarterly forecast and budgets.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
- Business Performance Analysis and Planning (Monthly reporting & for Budget)
- Contract profitability and reporting for customers (existing & potential)
Experience, Knowledge & Skills: At least 3-5 years relevant working experience (preferably with MNCs)
Possesses at least LCCI, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree in accounting/finance
Able to handle full set of accounts
High computer literacy and system aptitude
Partial ACCA qualification is an added advantage but not mandatory
