Job Description
- Position: Accounts Executive.
- Salary: RM 3000-4000.
- Location: City center, Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur.
- Working hours: 8.45 am-5.30 pm;(Monday-Friday)
This company, our client is a public listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia with diversified business interests. The Group\'s main focus is on two core areas of financial services and information technology, and has branched out to building construction and property development businesses as future business growth. Their corporate head office is located at Kuala Lumpur city center. Currently they are actively seeking to appoint accounting professionals to assume the role of Accounts Executive.
Job scope & responsibilities
The position is permanent full time role where you will be reporting to Finance Manager within the finance and accounting team.
As Accounts Executive, you will be involved in the daily operations and activities of the Accounting Department.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for daily accounting activities, cash flow, AR, AP and GL.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Manage full set of accounts.
- Prepare and ensure timely monthly financial and management reports, forecasts and budgets, cash flow management and audit schedule.
- Manage accounting projects.
- Maintain proper filing and accounting records.
- Liaise and coordinate with business partner entity in USA on all accounting works.
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Accountancy or professional qualification ACCA/CIMA.
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
- Similar experience in accounting role within insurance business would be advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial, building construction and/or property development.
- Experience in Treaty, Facultative and Reinsurance technical accounting will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge in IFRS,MFRS and Taxation.
- Proficient with ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken and Mandarin
