1. Journals processing

• Preparation, upload and posting of accounting journals to SAP.
• Ensure that all journals prepared are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals and the evidence retained in the Journal Voucher.
• Ensure that the journal upload and posting are processed timely, in the correct accounting period, functional currency, legal entity, etc.

2. Balance sheet reconciliation (BlackLine)

• Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are prepared for entities and uploaded according to the stipulated timelines.
• To follow up on any discrepancies and/or errors are identified with the remedial/rectification action and resolutions or correction.
• To flag potential risk items in the balance sheet reconciliations for the attention of Finance team so that actions can be taken for resolution.

3. Analysis and reporting

• Ensure that monthly reporting is accurately prepared, analyzed, and submitted to relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Perform SOX audit for entities involved.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly company statistics.
• Dealing with banks for all submissions related to Letter of Credits (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG),etc.

4. Other activities

• Other ad hoc tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Account Executive Skills and Qualifications:
Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills Qualifications
Degree in accounting required
Audit experience is preferable
Must have strong work ethics
Must be well organized and a self-starter
Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Proficient in Excel and Word, SAP experience a plus
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Ability to speak and write English fluently
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately Other note
