Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software accurately and efficiently.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable and receivable records, and prepare monthly statements.
Record Keeping: Maintain financial records and files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and budgets as required by management.
Communication: Interact with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide information as needed.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
