An Accounts Officer (AR) job has become available at a company in the automotive industry based in Petaling Jaya. About the Accounts Officer (AR) Role:
As the Accounts Officer (AR), you will mainly be involved in handling the accounts receivable related matters for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle internal/external customer inquiry such as dispute payment, credit note (PI), balance confirmation and reconciliation, etc.
• Clear/respond to incoming AR mailbox for all departments
• Verify credit/debit note request and generate credit/debit note
• Prepare debtor ageing and update daily bank transaction
• Prepare and submit the monthly estimation incoming funds report
• Issue dunning letter and follow up with Business Partners
• Support internal customer inquiry on Customer Master Maintenance/SSF submission, etc. and support the Vietnam team inquiry on the SSF approval and MY Form 9, 24, 49, etc.
• Support the Vietnam team on unidentified items and payment advice (during month end closing or/and upon request from the Vietnam team)
• Check and advise Vietnam team to do the manual clearing for AP and AR contra before AR closing
• Prepare the yearly revised credit limit in excel format for Business Partners to input estimation of yearly turnover. Coordinate and review with the Business Partners of the calculation on annual credit revision and ensure end-to-end completion, guide the Business Partners on raising form via SSF submission
• Coordinate, prepare letter, provide report and documents to the External Auditor as requested
• Responsible for Letter of Demand/Litigation matter
• Legal documents - Review legal documents with Legal team and to obtain Business Partners to sign off the document and arrange commission of oath before send to the third party lawyer, e.g. Affidavit, Proof of Debt (POD), Letter engagement, etc.
• Coordinate with the Business Partners to provide the supporting documents such as Stamped Customer Guarantee form, Distribution Agreement and demand letter, PO copy, INV/CN/DN copy, DO copy, statement of account, etc.
• Payment settlement - Monitoring of the payment received and informed Legal team
• OBC functions test/interface with Business Partners or coordination of projects roll out
• Handle inquiry from Business Partners, Group, external party, and detective control team

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Accounting or other relevant fields
• Minimum of three years\' relevant experience
• Good English Communication Skills (both written and spoken)
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset to drive a positive change, confidence, ability to take initiative, learn from failure and work together with the teams forward through challenges
• Demonstrates professional competence to strengthen knowledge and skills and continue to improve the weakness, to streamline the B2C function process and to identify area for improvement
• Any SAP or outstanding Excel Knowledge is an added advantage
