How You\'ll Make an Impact

\xe2\x97\x8f In your role as Team Lead for Accounts Receivable (AR) you will be responsible to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations related to accounts receivables, for example:

\xe2\x97\x8b Reconciliation of accounts (Customers & GL)

\xe2\x97\x8b Proposal Provision of doubtful receivables

\xe2\x97\x8b Handling legal proceedings of doubtful receivables

\xe2\x97\x8b Imaging and archiving

\xe2\x97\x8b Monitoring of Provisions

\xe2\x97\x8b Provide Credit Rating and Credit Limit Recommendation

\xe2\x97\x8b Monitoring credit limits

\xe2\x97\x8b Payment allocation

\xe2\x97\x8f Lead the regional Accounting Service Centre Accounts Receivable accounting team and partner with the global process owner/competence center to provide accurate books and records and comply with global processes/standards

\xe2\x97\x8f You will act as a competent contact person for various inquiries relating to your area of responsibility and advise your team on (receivables) accounting issues

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain and consult (local) AR policies

\xe2\x97\x8f You coordinate closely with other departments, countries, regions and seek opportunities to allow more effective cooperation between teams/ team members regardless of country/functional assignments

\xe2\x97\x8f The implementation and execution of new accounting regulations and internal controls - with focus on Accounts Receivable - is part of your responsibility

\xe2\x97\x8f You provide help and guidance to team members in need of assistance due to workload or lack of expertise issues

\xe2\x97\x8f You act as a role model in projects for process optimization, harmonization, automation, digitalization and standardization

\xe2\x97\x8f You value effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

\xe2\x97\x8f Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor qualitatively (if applicable for the assigned countries/legal entities)

\xe2\x97\x8f Implement, follow-up and continuously improve KPI\'s

\xe2\x97\x8f Proactively identify service delivery issues and take appropriate action, promote performance improvement initiatives and use of best practices.

\xe2\x97\x8f Contribute continuously to the improvement of the performance of the overall Accounting Service Centre

What You Bring

\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or related field

\xe2\x97\x8f Education as professional accountant

\xe2\x97\x8f 7 plus years of experience in operational accounting, specifically accounts receivable activities

\xe2\x97\x8f Finance leadership experience, with proven success in leading teams through change management processes

\xe2\x97\x8f Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to drive transformation

\xe2\x97\x8f People oriented and committed to drive personal growth of the team

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience of working in truly multicultural working environment

\xe2\x97\x8f End-to-end understanding of business processes in ERP landscape (e.g. SAP FI, CO).

\xe2\x97\x8f IFRS and local GAAP accounting knowledge.

\xe2\x97\x8f Your open and communicative nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
