The Role: Accounts Payable Analyst

The Team:
The AP Analyst supports the organization through accurate and timely invoice validation and data entry within an SAP ERP environment (will be integrated to Oracle Fusion in Nov 1st. Utilizing an investigative customer support-based approach, the AP Analyst will be tasked with assisting the operational arm of the business with the processing and researching of invoices and various systems uploads.

The Impact:
This role will ensure vendor payment/colleague reimbursement is adherent to the correct way of doing business. Provide guideline and clarity during payment submission to avoid confusion. Make payment on time so that it doesn\xe2\x80\x99t bring disruption to the business.

This role provides an opportunity to learn the market standard of AP process.

Candidates will be given adequate training to operate in mainstream tools such as Oracle/SAP.

Ideas on process improvement is highly encouraged in this role which will motivates candidates to accept the challenged to grow into a more important role.

Responsibilities:
Verify and process invoices timely and efficiently

Execute payment in an accurate manner according to the payment term

Ensure compliance with company policy and SOX controls

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues and continuing to improve AP process

Support month end close activities and audit queries

Correspond with vendors and colleagues regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process

What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:
Bachelor\'s Degree in finance, business, or Diploma in Accounting

Strong numerical computation and/or accounting bookkeeping, data entry experience would be considered.

Experience in SAP/Oracle is preferred and highly desired, however, not a requirement

A strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Time management skills

Flexibility \xe2\x80\x93 being able to adapt to a constantly changing environment and process

Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 3
