Job Description

As an Accounts Payable (Korean Speaker), you will be responsible all invoices are approved appropriately and paid on time, maintains the accounts payable system, and resolves issues as and when needed while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices fore documentation and approval prior to payment
• Processing invoices, employee T&E claims and payments for assigned Korean entities/locations
• To research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues (identify, communicate and facilitate resolution for suppliers)
• Correspond with internal and external parties and respond to inquiries
• Reconcile pre-payment in supplier account to ensure no long outstanding item
• Assist with month end closing and produce reports, i.e. Supplier Reconciliations and ad-hoc reports
• Monthly calls with local finance and procurement to discuss/resolve any pending issues
• To involve in yearly audit and providing any required information from auditors

Qualifications

Background / Qualifications

• A recognized Diploma in Accounting/Finance, preferably with Accounts Payable experience. Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Familiar with Excel, Microsoft Office and preferably with Accounting system experience (Oracle, SAP, QAD, COGNOS)
• Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Able to converse and write in English and Korean language (min requirement Level 3)
