With a focus on making a positive impact, they leverage extensive industry knowledge and are committed to delivering outstanding results, viewing themselves as a partner in success.Our partner is currently expanding the team and is in search of an Accounts Payable Officer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role oversees managing the Accounts Payable function for all Unit Plans, ensuring that service is consistently delivered across all Pods. It also involves improving the Finance Team's resources, mainly through better processes and procedures, to make operations more efficient.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts Payable Management:

  • Manage accounts payable inbox.
  • Conduct global and daily reconciliations.
  • Process supplier invoice payments.
  • Add and update supplier details.
  • Oversee reimbursements for overpaid levies and expenses incurred by owners.
  • Handle inter-lot transfers.
  • Provide an updated for internal accounting team on payment status monthly.
  • Issue debtor invoices.
  • Request ABN and TFN numbers for new Unit Plans.
Invoice Processing:
  • Assign invoices to Strata Managers for approval and monitor due dates.
  • Review supplier monthly statements and address any inquiries as necessary.
  • Create and update user accounts for external approvers.
Banking Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the bank to open new accounts for Units Plans.
  • Handle transaction and investment accounts.
  • Facilitate account transfers and closures.
  • Approve payment files held at the bank.
Client and Financial Transaction Support:
  • Provide financial documentation for the handover of lost Unit Plans.
  • Process expense claims and reimbursements for staff, Building Managers, and owners.
  • Address supplier queries and update bank details for Strata Managers and Building Managers.
  • Facilitate various financial transactions, including payments, utility bills, invoices, and payroll.
Strategic Development:
  • Develop strategies to improve business processes and minimize financial risks.
  • Assist with administrative tasks within the Finance Team as needed.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
