Position Overview

Are you planning to advance your skills in Accounts Receivable by managing cash influx and cash application? As an Accounts Receivable Intern, you will have both day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping them on track, on time, and on good terms to keep the business running smoothly.

If you are detail orientated and keen to learn more about Accounts Receivable, we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Posting cash receipts in ERP system, following up on auto cash.
  • Resolving problems related to cash application and sales invoice batch posting for the appropriate entities.
  • Performing transfers of cash (both internal and external).
  • Updating customer accounts based on the Credit Manager\'s requests.
  • Following up on the billing due list.
  • Releasing/creating credit/debit notes.
  • Performing month-end closing activities for the appropriate entities, preparing reconciliations; analyzing any AR to GL differences.
  • Maintaining back- up function for other team members.
  • Supporting audit requests if required.
  • Communicating with other parties regarding cash application processing (Collections, CS, AP, GL, Credit etc.).
  • Escalating important issues to Team Lead or C2C supervisor, if necessary.
Required Skills:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.
  • Technology-savvy; able to work using Microsoft Excel and eager to learn about new systems.
  • Have a growth mindset and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability in time and planning management.
  • Act as a team player.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Available for a 3-months internship.
