Job Details:

Position : Collections Representative

Company Background : Water Testing Instruments

Working Hours : 6.00 PM - 2:30 AM (Support US time)

Working Location : Remote

Working Duration: 6 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (renewable based on performance)

Remuneration : Basic RM3,000 - RM4,000 (based on qualification & experience) with statutory contribution + insurance & leave entitlement + shift allowance

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2-5 years working experience in credit / collection / cash application
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and word processing.
• Excellent English communication
• Able to work in US time zone

JOB TASK

• Contact customers daily to resolve past due accounts and to determine how to prevent future payment delays. (Heavy call volume - approximately 300-400 incoming and outgoing phone calls per week).
• Release Credit Holds.
• Support Export Collections.
• Negotiate payment plans or schedules with delinquent customers.
• Maintain accounts daily within credit guidelines based considering.
• Payment history.
• Compiled credit information.
• Current payment trends.
• Review and process daily orders requiring attention of the credit department.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and problems daily with orders, invoices, shipments and payments.
• Supply documentation to customers as required for payment of invoices.
• Follow accounting procedures in adjusting customer accounts receivables balance.
• Promote good business relations with customers.
• Serve as back up for letters of credit.
• Other duties as assigned.
