We are looking for : Account Receivable Officer Location : Kuala Lumpur Accountabilities: A high degree of independence is required on a day to day basis & performs problem solving for non-complex issues. Liaise with internal and external contacts when required. To assist in monitoring the receivable portfolio and ensure all repayments from tenant are paying in timely manner. Implement and manage collections in accordance with the Company\'s policy and procedures. Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables\' data. To reconcile our accounts receivable with tenant\'s accounts in order to minimize/avoid disputed invoices with tenant\'s accounts. To monitor closely the performance and activities of debt collection and liaise with Finance Manager to ensure proper management of account receivables. Maintaining the billing system, performing data entry, generating invoices & account statements also processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements from MRI system. Maintaining accounts receivable files and records, investigating, and resolving any irregularities or enquiries. Obtaining information from other to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date. Oversee the collection and maintenance of one-time lease rent approvals and payments based on executed agreements. Provide monthly lease reporting & AR report as per agreed report schedule and distribution. Setting-up lease, tenant floor unit\'s and any other leasing & rental information into MRI system and maintain the accuracy of data provided. Review the lease agreement and ensuring the data is kept current and accurate, maintaining & managing record for all lease agreements information in Horizon system & Salesforce System. Monitor critical dates and follow up with tenant for information / feedback on critical dates. Ensure that lease admin agreed procedures and process flows are adhered to strictly in accordance with guidelines. Escalate to Finance Manager any issues that arise out of lease admin service delivery. Ensure that all documentation and processes are followed for lease rent management. Maintaining standard checklists, templates, workflows and documentation. Assisting Finance Manager on monthly & annual accounting close process including reconciling the daily bank statement with minimum supervise. Assisting Finance Manager to ensure journal entries are accurate including accruals and a variety of other accounting information. To ensure that entries are align with generally accepted accounting principles. Assisting Finance Manager for an audits process on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness. Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards. Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping. Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting. Work collaboratively with Accounts Payable and Finance Manager to ensure accuracy in Finances. Oversee the lease admin service delivery to the client and act as single point of contact Ensure that lease admin services are provided to the client according to agreed scope Escalate to management any issues that arise out of lease admin service delivery Provide lease admin training to Assistant Lease & Rental Administrator Document Tracking, Abstracting and Portfolio Data Maintenance: Cross-check lease abstracts as well as file and data maintenance. Ensure that all documentation and processes are followed for lease rent management Maintaining standard checklists, templates, work flows and documentation Any other duties assigned as and when needed Key Performance Measures Competencies Candidate must possess Candidate must possess at least a LCCI/Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent. Well versed in MS Office (e.g Words, Excel etc). Must strong attention to details. Required language(s):English & Bahasa Malaysia Excellent written and verbal communication skills. At least 1 - 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Positive approach to meeting client needs. Work experience in a corporate environment or with a third-party service provider. The ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts (eg real estate leases) would be an advantage. Experience using a property management/lease administration system would be an advantage. Comprehensive understanding of all Procurement system would be an advantage.
