Job Description


Job Responsibility:

  • To attend to internal & external enquiries and correspondence
  • To liaise and co-ordinate shipments with freight forwarders and shipping line for import and export shipment.
  • To arrange the international shipment for deliver finished goods to customer site, or shipment to supplier
  • Preparation of all shipping documents accurately and ensure shipments are being handled promptly and delivered on-time.
  • To coordinate with customer and ensure necessary document or permit in place before shipment release.
  • To arrange outstation shipment within Malaysia for deliver finished goods to customer site.
  • To request quotation, compare price from forwarder.
  • To request quotation, compare price and arrange machine packer for machine crating services and coordinate the packing schedule with project team and contractor.
  • To coordinate forwarder and customer for shipment arrangement and ensure shipment arrive customer site as project planned.
  • Identify tax and import duty of goods imported.
  • To deal with insurance agent and apply marine insurance for export and import shipment, ensure marine insurance certificate is ready
    before shipment release.
  • To ensure proper documentation for K1 and K2 form.
  • To handle PR and issue PO for forwarder and contractor.
  • To deal with custom office if any issue arise.
  • To assist purchasing team to apply MIDA permit for import duties exemption purpose.
  • To ensure proper documentation for SST and MIDA documents comply with requirement for audit purpose.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Management, Education, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business/Administration, MBA or relevant engineering field.
  • Preferable 3 Year of working experience in the related field.
  • With experience to handle SST and MIDA permit application is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate capabilities in teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
  • Communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage but not compulsory)
