POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Supervising the daily operations at the warehouse to ensure smooth work flow within the department and good inventory control

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Propose stock order base on its sales performance to avoid out-of -stock situation.
• Compile and submit all details of damage ; expired and slow moving stock level to respective department to avoid space wastage.
• To verify all receiving documents (invoice; DO and Goods receive Note-GRN) on the same day to ensure the accuracy of stock receiving
• To ensure all documents in relations to logistics and inventory control are accurate and update accordingly and on time
• Monitor and cross check price tag to ensure no wrong tagging.
• Communicate with supplier and plan the number of deliveries at location
• Lead the stock process at location and ensure timely submission of variance report (if any)
• To ensure no pilferage within and maintain a professional work relation with all staff
• Strive towards zero variance at location.

• Supervise and educating the staff on the importance of inventory keeping
• Strive towards minimal variances caused by documentation error

• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Able to supervise a minimum team of warehouse assistant
• Possess leadership skills with good organizational skill
• Experience in warehousing environment
• Good inventory control knowledge

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Transportation or equivalent

• Diploma with minimum 1 year relevant working experience
