About the role

The British International School of Kuala Lumpur seeks an open-minded, professional and sales-oriented Admissions Officer to join our leading international school. As Admissions Officer you will be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for parents and students through the Purchase phase of the Family Experience Journey (FEJ), as families progress from initial enquiry through to and including the child's first day at school, thereby maximising the conversion of leads into new starters.

In this role you'll use your skills and expertise to provide excellent work with impeccable professionalism. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with prospective parents, students, colleagues, agents, and the school leadership team. You'll model the school's values: be kind; be resilient; take risks; act with integrity and to be ambitious.

About you

You will possess a university degree and at least of 2 years of experience in admissions or sales, preferably in an education setting. You must also have the legal right to work in Malaysia or be able to meet the visa-related requirements for work in Malaysia. Applicants must be prepared to undergo stringent child protection screening, including references and checks with past employers, and an enhanced DBS

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 3:00pm on the 2nd December , 2022. Selected candidates will be chosen for interviews. The school reserves the right to appoint a candidate before the closing date.
