-Depending on your experience level, you will be designated either as a senior, mid or entry-level process control engineer
-As a member of the team and depending on your experience level, you will either be sustaining our suite of process control assets across the globe, improving the unit performance or energy use or be actively involved in scoping, developing and deploying new applications across our business lines in Product Solutions or Upstream
-This position is not limited to Malaysians onlyWhat you will do-Develop and implement regulatory and advanced control applications at ExxonMobil facilities globally
-Develop and leverage cutting edge tools and techniques to improve the delivery effectiveness of process control applications
-Provide expert technical support to ExxonMobil refineries, chemicals and upstream facilities globally on base and advanced control applications as well as support for capital projects development
-Design new or modify existing process control schematics to improve operators\xe2\x80\x99 ability to respond to abnormal situations
-Improve abnormal event detection capability and alarm management at ExxonMobil refineries and chemical facilities worldwide
-Participation in developing and deploying technology extension programs, R&D and innovative next-generation process control tools
-Specifically for those with senior level engineer experience:-Provide technical leadership and drive cross collaboration to enable the above work activities on a global scale
-Maintain highest level of expertise in technical discipline and be acknowledged as a leading expert
-Promote innovative solutions that maximize value and support global business priorities
-Serve as a technical mentor to other team members to enhance their team functional skill proficiencies and drive competency development strategy in the Process Control disciplineAbout youSkills and Qualifications-Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
-At least 5 years of relevant work experience in designing and implementing effective control applications for downstream refining, petrochemical industry or upstream facilities
-Working knowledge in one or more of the following:-Distributed Control System (DCS) software and hardware platforms
-Model predictive control software
-Programming languages
-Data analytics and visualization
