Malaysia is a crucial leg of the company\xe2\x80\x99s supply chain and has played a key role in supporting our customer needs while increasing supply to meet the growing demand. As part of Intel\xe2\x80\x99s recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy and building on its strong foundation laid close to five decades ago, Intel is continuing to invest in and expand its existing facilities in Malaysia. As the material program manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to inventory health/optimization; streamlined / reliable services and logistics; and supplier delivery performance.
  • Develops and executes commodity strategies, as well as drives supplier development through innovation and collaboration.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of industry and market dynamics, and knowledge of commodities to drive supply chain solutions ahead of Intel\'s needs.
  • Leverages and applies understanding of contracting and negotiating, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management to manage supplier relationships and provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions with adherence to procurement policies.
  • Owns relationships and coordinates purchasing activities with cross functional teams to acquire materials and services in a cost effective and timely manner.
  • Monitors the acquisition of materials in support of ramping factories, sustaining factories and dispositions materials for end of life factories.
  • Proactive management of commodities by creating predictive analysis techniques and providing business insights through data analytics. Analyzes supply vs. demand to make purchasing decisions.
  • Executes contractual requirements as well as meets with suppliers to discuss material performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies
  • Managing the internal stakeholder needs with the supplier capabilities. Drives and participates in the development of system/process improvements and supply chain solutions across organizational teams.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Material Sciences, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Proven analytical, communication and influencing skills.
  • 6 years plus experience in a similar role in the non-processed chemical and gases sourcing and procurement
  • Knowledge of the Advanced Packaging, Fab processes and structure would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Chemical Hazardous Material Handling/Logistics would be beneficial.
  • Candidate must have proven written/verbal communication skills, customer orientation and enjoy working in a team environment.
