Job Purpose To take charge of Tawau branch life agency development duties. To support the agency force, ensure agents recruitment is up to the company requirement and deliver the desireable result.Manage the agency expectation to be in line with company direction. Delivers profitable growth through selling a broad and differentiated suite of solutions in a unified way and manage the existing portfolio. Develops intimate knowledge of distributor\'s business model and proposition and creates a business plan which optimizes identified opportunities that align with our market basket strategies. Leads and manages holistic distributor and customer value propositions to deliver profitable growth. Key Tasks & Accountabilities: Responsible for sales targets: Aggressively seeks new and renewal account opportunities and communicates with a team of sales specialists and underwriter resources to facilitate closing the opportunity. Conducts discussions with distributors to develop a detailed and accurate distributor profile. Completes and maintains detailed opportunity assessment with key distributors to identify growth opportunities. Creates business plans with key distributors that leverages Zurich\'s broad range of insurance products and services. Builds strong business relationships at multiple levels of the distributor\'s organization. Conducts regular sales calls with distributor with frequency aligned to opportunity and need. Works with Business Units to execute distributor business plans. Conducts periodic reviews with distributors, manages their performance to ensure execution of the business plan. Qualifies accounts to meet with Zurich\'s appetite. In partnership with underwriter, negotiates to close accounts with distributors. Drives and manages process to increase Zurich product density at existing accounts. Builds internal relationships with Zurich Business Units to facilitate a unified face to market. Serves as the escalation point for distributor on service and business Manages sales pipeline. Achieves goals related to sales calls, submissions, hit ratios, and production. Effectively executes sales strategies and campaigns. Business Accountabilities: Provide expert solutions for key customer(s). Enhance business through consulting with key customers. Ensures the successful completion of projects by maintaining continuing dialogue with business unit sponsors during implementation of major projects. Deliver high quality, technical solutions. Diagnose and develop recommendations to solve unique business unit and customer problems. Lead complex technical or long-term (over 6 months) business projects to implement new or changed systems, programs or products. Investigate, recommend and implement leading edge technical solutions when they meet customer needs. Performance Management Accountabilities: Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values. Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members Educate team members and business partners on area of technical expertise. Provide guidance and support for team members. Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same. Job Requirements : Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) and 5 or more years of experience in related field. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably someone from the insurance industry.
