Job Overview:

A highly motivated AIOps Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize our observability infrastructure. This role focuses on managing Linux environments, log and monitoring platforms (Splunk / OpenSearch), automation scripting, and ensuring high availability across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux servers in production environments. Administer Splunk, OpenSearch, and other observability platforms, including log collection, indexing, visualization, and alert configuration. Design and implement log pipelines using ETL tools such as Logstash, Fluent Bit, or Filebeat. Develop Python scripts to automate operational tasks, API interactions, and data processing. Support, manage and tune Kafka clusters for reliable data streaming and messaging. Participate in issue troubleshooting and emergency response to ensure system stability and uptime. Support continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and automation systems.

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency with Linux OS, including system administration, shell scripting, and troubleshooting. Understanding of log and observability systems (Splunk, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch?etc.). Familiarity with ETL tools and data collection mechanisms (Logstash, Fluent Bit, Filebeat, etc.). Familiarity with messaging middleware (Kafka) architecture and deployment. Familiarity with RESTful and token-based API integrations. Ability to respond to critical incidents and provide occasional off-hours support. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and collaboration across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (Pods, Services, Deployments). Experience with Splunk ES, OpenSearch Dashboards, or Elasticsearch plugin development. Familiarity with Python automation frameworks (Requests, httpx, Playwright). Interest or experience in AIOps, Observability, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Experience managing workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
