Responsibilities:
Consult with brand, outlet and line leadership team and provide HR guidance on all employment matters.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of manpower and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
Reducing legal, business and financial risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provides guidance on HR Policies, Procedures and interpretation.
Improving and monitoring employee productivity.
Partners with the HR Shared Service Team, compliance and finance department as needed/required
Uphold highest standards of a progressive, professional, happy and fair workplace.
Align company internal practices with Malaysia Employment Act.
Propose fair compensation and benefit packages for existing and new employees.
Build trust and credibility by responding to enquires in a timely manner.
Resolve and address employee issues, discipline and grievances jointly with line managers fairly. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Ensure timely disbursement of salaries, wages, and benefits.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
Evaluate staffing needs, internal and external trends.
Overseeing recruitment efforts, ensure all hires are fit-for-purpose and welcomed with a meaningful onboarding.
Improving relations between staff and employers.
Work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance.
Implement HR interventions and initiatives on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, health and safety and other employee engagement activities.
Collaborate with ground leadership team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
Conduct regular meetings with business leaders, offering business insights.
Play a pivotal role as brand ambassador during interviews.
Ensuring that the business can attract and retain top talent.
Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as an HR business partner
Excellent people management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Thorough knowledge of JTK regulations
Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
