Join us as Analytical Engineering Manager for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be leading and managing to deliver high quality, cost effective and timely engineering solutions to customers. Formulating plan, allocating resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets besides initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes, procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability. Reporting to Business Manager and this position will be based in Subanag Jaya, Malaysia. This is a position with global grade 13 Your responsibilities Ensuring development of performance targets in line with global/local targets and their achievement through regular oversight, defining required actions for improvement Driving development of processes/practices based on customer feedback and providing engineering support during the bid phase, ensuring that the resources required to deliver the technical solutions are correctly accounted (e.g., the requirements for safety, technical competence, quality, schedule, and cost) Guiding the team in building engineering/operational capability through training, mentoring and shadowing programs Ensuring that all HSE and integrity related policies and standards are strictly adhered to and followed in local engineering unit/team Participating in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets and constraints Driving a team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per the set contract, safety, and quality requirements Collaborating with supply chain and project management to negotiate with suppliers of services and equipment to meet the contractual obligations of systems orders Ensuring commissioning activities (if applicable) are implemented in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements Your background Engineering degree in Analytics with less than 10 years of experience in the similar field Strong knowledge on technical, targeted customers \' analyzers, knowledge on local Malaysia market Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships with key decision makers of existing and potential customers A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
