We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our eKYC Android SDK, transitioning it to modern development practices. Job Responsibilities 1. Maintain and Enhance eKYC Android SDK: Review and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in the existing Android SDK. Implement updates and improvements to ensure the SDK remains robust and efficient. 2. Transition to Modern Development Practices: Lead the transition of the existing Android SDK to modern development practices, ensuring backward compatibility. Refactor and rewrite code as needed, adhering to best practices for Android development. Implement modern features and design patterns to improve SDK maintainability and performance. 3. SDK Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive SDK documentation for internal and external developers. Ensure clear and accessible code documentation for ease of use and integration. 4. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement effective testing strategies for the SDK to maintain high quality and reliability. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring robust SDK performance. 5. Deep Learning Model Integration: Implement and maintain interfaces for input, output, and on-device inference on Android devices. 6. Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices. Contribute to the team\'s knowledge by sharing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Only open to Malaysian applicants only Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Proven experience in Android app development, with a strong focus on Java Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with mobile app design principles and user experience considerations. Nice-to-Have Knowledge of Android security best practices. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Contributions to open-source Android projects. Experience with third-party libraries and frameworks often used in Android development. Basic knowledge of deep learning model inference.
