Job Description

Key Activities:

The Ansible Automation Platform DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform. Leverage Ansible Automation Platform features, to manage and scale automation workflows across multiple environments. Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, collections and modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as GitLab CI, or TeamCity Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into deployment processes. Ensure consistent and reproducible deployments by managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Ansible. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure to quickly identify and resolve issues, to ensure system stabilization, high availability and adequate performance. Continuously assessing and improving automation processes, adopting best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and ensure compliance. Stay updated with emerging technologies in DevOps and infrastructure automation to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

At least 2-10 Years of working experience in Ansible Automation Platform. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and principles (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet). Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and system administration. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Certifications related to DevOps, cloud platforms, or automation tools (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). Experience with advanced application deployment strategies. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices. Knowledge of best practices for security and compliance in DevOps. Familiarity with Python.
