Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Ansible Automation Platform Engineer

to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions using

Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform

. The role involves developing scalable automation frameworks, integrating DevOps best practices, and ensuring secure, efficient infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in

Ansible

infrastructure automation

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using

Ansible Automation Platform

. Develop, maintain, and optimize

Ansible playbooks

,

roles

,

collections

, and

modules

for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management. Leverage

Ansible Automation Platform

capabilities to manage and scale automation workflows across multiple environments. Implement and manage

CI/CD pipelines

using tools such as

GitLab CI

,

TeamCity

, or equivalent. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed compliance and security protocols into automation and deployment workflows. Manage

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and automation-related issues to maintain stability and performance. Continuously assess and improve automation processes, adopting new technologies and best practices to enhance scalability and efficiency. Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and standards. Stay up to date with emerging

DevOps

and

automation

technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Information Technology

, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum

5 years of professional experience

in

DevOps

,

IT operations

, or

infrastructure engineering

. Proven expertise with

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

and

Ansible

scripting. Proficiency in scripting languages such as

Python

,

Bash

, or

PowerShell

. Experience with

Terraform

,

Chef

, or

Puppet

is an advantage. Working knowledge of

cloud platforms

(Azure, Google Cloud) and

container technologies

(Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with

monitoring and logging tools

(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Strong understanding of

network protocols

security

, and

system administration

principles. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver timely solutions. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

, or equivalent. Experience with

agile methodologies

and

advanced deployment strategies

. Strong understanding of

in DevOps environments. Familiarity with
