The Role Responsibilities Purpose The Operational Continuity in Resolution department ensures SCB maintains compliance with regulatory guidelines by maintaining a service catalogue codifying the SCB Group\'s operating model and enabling continued demonstration of resilience and resolvability. OCIR is a critical element of the broader Recovery and Resolution Planning regulations mandated by the G20\'s Financial Stability Board. In the unlikely event of Standard Chartered entering a state of Resolution, the OCIR initiative aims to ensure the orderly wind-down and/or break-up of the group, minimising impact to the real economy. The role-holder will partner with the broader OCIR team (in KL, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and London) and stakeholders across the Group to support integration of the Service Catalogue at the core of the Group operating model. Support ongoing compliance with PRA Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) regulations Work with broader OCIR teams in GBS and in Group (SG / HK / Dubai, London) to ensure OCIR Service Catalogue is continuously updated and maintained by mapping processes to supporting teams, systems, vendors, and operational assets Coordinate data gathering and assessment across all Businesses in all Countries to enable identification of Critical Economic Functions Manage data quality and exception dashboards as applicable across all OCIR processes: Identify Critical Economic Functions Maintain Service Catalogue Ensure Financial Resilience Maintain OCIR Playbooks Follow-up non-performance of required tasks by users across all OCIR processes which will cover over 50 countries globally Perform initial review and resolve exceptions, per the relevant OCIR Standard Operating Procedure Escalate critical exceptions to the OCIR teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and London for further review and follow up. Escalate potential technical issues to OCIR team for follow up with Risk IT Manage the periodic review and escalation of key exception and data quality metrics Provide detailed MI and control reporting on a periodic and ad-hoc basis Handle ad hoc Projects - from communication to delivery and provide analysis to stakeholder Risk Management Support all control checks approved by Operational Risk Framework (ORF) and Data Quality Management Framework. Be accountable for identification and escalation of potential risks and issues to senior management through appropriate governance channels. Analyse significant risk events as defined by ORF to ensure that all are identified and reported and make risk mitigation recommendations (and / or implement) to relevant stakeholders. Inform senior management of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and / or activities are ceased. Communicate and Collaborate Support effective and timely communication and collaboration across functions and businesses. Regular and diarised catch ups with OCIR GBS team as well as Group Resilience teams. Agility in Strategic Change Management Manage and protect business as usual (BAU) capability during change programmes, as well as during the execution and delivery of the Remediation initiatives through project phase and into BAU. Provide subject matter expert advice, guidance, and support to the project managers on managing change. Ensure that there is adequate support for people, processes, tools, frameworks, systems Monitoring and Conduct GBS team. Review new business requirements and provide solutions where required. Prior experience of working as a business analyst handling complex stakeholders desirable. Prior experience of working with stakeholders across geographies desirable.
